Day 6: Bruny Island, Hobart, Tasmania (Jess)

Alarms set off a little after 6am… By then we were pretty much used to getting up early.
Toured at Bruny Wildlife Adventure for the next 8 hours! (Not as tiring as it sounds, despite the early hours)

Took an hour’s cruise to Bruny island down south via the Peppermint Bay II. We could not stand at the deck area for more than 5 minutes. The winds were intense!

At Bruny island, we transferred to a half an hour coach ride, and then we had a wildlife tour on a vessel for about 3 hours.

Coolest bit was that we were only 2800km away from Antartica!! (Hence the ginormous winter jackets everyone was offered:)

Got to see many landformations as well, which pretty much reminded us of our geography lessons (both Josey and I did geography for A levels)

We also got to see some wild seals, and they are honestly, the smelliest things on earth.. but also one of the cutest! (Especially the baby seals)!

And not to forget, to my sister's delight, she had oyster for lunch! And according to her, it was the tastiest one she's ever had. Feast your eyes, literally:

The lunch wasn't too shabby as well, though I could've sworn my sister almost passed out from overdose of Western food!

We did a bit of soccer as well with some young lads and old folks. Pretty sure my sister got owned some :p
