Defo had the best meal of the trip so far..! Landed at about noon before being transported to our hotel located right next to China Town. How apt, for the AZN food. But no, we didn't have that for lunch ;)
China Town. It reads "Four Oceans, One Home". AZN Pride much!
Ferris Wheel at Darling Harbor.. Love how everyone chills on any field in sight
Clock Tower at Sydney Central Station
Anyway, we headed straight for the Sydney fishmarket with no time to lose, leaving our luggage behind with our airplane hairdo and scent. It was a good 20 minute walk but well worth it.
My sis and the famous Sydney Fish Market
Yes, it's open everyday :)
Got there just in time, and got myself nothing but a cholesterol-fied meal. We had: One and a half dozen oysters, some lobsters, prawns, scallops, sashimi etc etc!
Orange-st lobsters I've eve seen!
Sydney rock oysters! They had pacific ones as well
Mmm.. Though they don't look as big as the Sri Lankan Crabs available in SG
Salmon, tuna and yellowtail sashimi
This was only my first lunch :)
My sister's cheese lobster!
More lunches, and topped off with Australia's Cooper's Pale Ale! I wanted the Sparkling ale cos it's so expensive in SG, but they were all out :(
This ain't the only available store.. There were at least 4 huge ones around!
We wanted more, but the markets were closing unforch :(
Headed straight for town for some shopping and oh my gosh, do NOT miss out on the Supre's super store that's located right smack in town! We bought about 25 pieces for a total of less than AUD80, yes, so we averaged about SGD4/piece.
My satisfied sis at Supre
Don't be shopping at the main deck though, there's a hidden staircase in one of the corners of the store. The basement is bigger than an olympic size swimming pool, the clothes, more volume than the water in it.
We had to drop our clothes back in the hotel, obvz reasons, before heading out to Darling Harbor for a quick visit. While there, we saw an entertainer with some animal balloons. Pfft, standard? Def noooo. We heard a gasp and decided to watch him for a bit. There he was, swallowing the entire longass balloon - whole! Quite disturbing, and decided we won't be having dinner anytime soon...
The disturbing balloon-swallowing dude
So many places to visit, so little time
A great place to have dinner - try their steak and kangaroo steak as well :x
Darling Harbor
.. Naht. We then headed back towards our hotel and had a decent dinner at this restaurant, Kasumi, located at ChinaTown as well - Sushi, again.. And the best salmon yuke ever tasted (it's basically raw stuff smacked on top of some onions n veg, and sesame oil).
Salmon yuke <3

You'll defo need to drop by if you're craving AZN food. Had a birthday beer as well with my sis and that basically wraps up my awesome beerday in Syds :)
Just spent the last 2 hours hopping about town. Saw a few clubs as well, and nightlife I must say looks pretty sweet.. Early morning tomorrow though, so time to turn in..!
Good night Sydney!
